James Houchins

James Houchins has been a life-long gamer who decided to pursue his passion professionally by entering the Entertainment Arts and Engineering program at the University of Utah in 2020.

James grew up playing the 8-bit greats of the 1980s and 90s, such as Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Mega Man. One of his favorite Super Nintendo games is EarthBound, a game he still enjoys playing via emulator.

He is excited to bring his decades of gaming experience together with his love of writing and world-building to bring the next generation of video games to today’s gamers.
